Keynote Speaker - Simon Cook BioSimon is the CEO of Draper Esprit and has been involved with the European VC industry since 1995. He co-founded Draper Esprit in 2005 and has been involved with a number of Europe’s most successful startups including Lovefilm (Amazon), Cambridge Silicon Radio (IPO), Virata (IPO), nCipher (IPO) and KVS (Symantec). Previously Simon was a partner with Elderstreet Investments and a Director at 3i. He was a computer games developer early in his career and is a graduate of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).

Keynote Speaker - Dr. Bhaskar Dasgupta BioBhaskar is the Chief Operating Officer of UK Export Finance which is the UK’s Export Credit Agency established in 1919. He responsibles for technology, operations, compliance, operational risk management, strategy and planning, security and corporate services. He is also responsible for delivery of the UKEF’s digital programme.
Prior to UK Export Finance, he worked in HSBC where he has transformed and run the sales and business development function for Global Forfaiting and Risk Distribution, Global Banking, Global Trade and Receivables Finance & Payments and Cash Management in HSBC in COO and Programme Director Roles. He was also responsible for managing the Finance COO Office & Programme office for Global Finance for a $2b transformation programme. |
